Yes it's true but they don't even own much compart.ccTLD for their global business, which shows they don't attach enough importance to their brand domain. So as soon as their bottomline was touched, I decided to sell it.

BTW, the deal was on bases of my present of the cognominal co.in which ensured the success. Detail info was delivered by Sedo Specialist.

There is another Compart from Singapore who once made an offer much less than this.

Cant say if you made a wise decision without knowing the name but still congrats for the sale.

Best of luck for future.

I think you undersold the name IMO. That "end user" will be able to sell that name for low to mid $x,xxx in a few years and make a nice profit despite paying $500.But the good thing about this industry is that you can undersell and still make a nice profit. good job with the sale! another lll.in out of the way :)

@ Warbux .. thanks and yes I hold that domain for 3 years, total invest in for that domain is under $50 usd .. which isn't bad for a nice small profit ..

nipro.in $1,330 at SEDO (Not mine)

Its seller is also a friend of mine, who is a legend in China.

He invests more than $200,000 in domaining per year and gains overwhelming profits that no one knows the exact amount of. This guy does various extensions and even IDNs but never fails. He made his first pot of gold from $0.15-priced-CN at 2007, and still keeps over 80,000 CNs till now, additionally, other varieties that I know exactly are 25,000 INs and 30,000 INFOs.

He usually hides himself deeply so as his friend I may not say much about him, but you will know if I was telling lies by the screenshot below. ;)

I agree with Kussy. Seem weird ..

FYI. just sold another premium LLL.in for $1850 USD to an end-user today (in UK). One good thing is I bought this LLL like about 2 weeks ago for only $65 from reseller online :). Can't give out the domain to public as an agreement.

*** The hope is always there :).
