yeah. it's mine. i used another sedo account to get the auction started, with no intention to place any further bids. got caught by sedo & they cancelled the auction. that's it.

Wrong move. What if the name hadn't received any more bids?

Back in the day there was a site "Push to Auction" where you could ask for $60 bids on Sedo to get an auction started. This was approved by Sedo:

PushToAuction.com is a service for sellers who wish to advertise domains that they are willing to push to auction at Sedo™ for $60. Sellers no longer have to wait to be noticed in the crowd of millions of domains, and buyers no longer have to play the guessing game.

PushToAuction.com management has spoken with Sedo's director of business development, Mark Klein, about the concept, intent, and implementation of the site. Sedo™ is well aware of the site's existence, and has not expressed any desire for us to stop providing this service to industry professionals.

Soon after PushToAuction.com went live we worked closely with Sedo's North American risk management coordinator, Tom Fell, to monitor auctions started by the site's users. He was unable to find any correlation between auctions started from our site and an increase in canceled auctions.

PushToAuction.com has been given the green light to operate as a Sedo affiliate by Sedo's Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel Jeremiah Johnston. The only requirement is that it remain clear that PushToAuction.com is not owned, operated, or endorsed by Sedo.

In other news, binaryoptions.in which was on auction actually completed for 1,500 Euros.

SEDO must be tracking IP address. The same is true for other famous Auctions sites like Ebay, etc.

Against Sedo T & C, not to be done, especially with such a good name

Latest Sedo sales:

shell.in 1,500 USD
binaryoptions.in 1,500 EUR
virtualoffice.in 1,000 USD
luna.in 1,000 USD

I wonder if the seller of shell.in knew that the .co.in went for just shy of $8K to the same buyer. Always pays to do a few checks on potential buyers and previous sales when a half decent offer comes in...

logo.in finished for $700 on flippa (reserve not met)
java.in was on auction too, no bids unfortunately.
elab.in finished at 502 Pounds with 1 bid, but looks like there is no progress on domain transfer. Will keep an eye on this.
