Not good.
I have noticed 3 character .com (lln, nll etc) going mid $xxx upwards. You would think nnn.in at auction would be at least in to mid $xxx by now.
Looks like some people havent learnt to not do ""public auction" with .in domains. they'll learn the hard way.And 114.IN finished at $260.00 with three bidders.

Wot, if you remember that less than one year ago, NNN.in were available to hand-reg, that is not bad IMHO.
Yes , this domain went too cheap whether it be a 2005 or 2015 domain ...if it was a private bulk sale , it would have been a different thing , at Sedo one should not accept any offer below mid XXX , and pushing that to auction is a mistake in some cases . The NNN market is definitely increasing , with some of us ( including myself ) having made the mistake to sell at cheap rates earlier . Now there are limited good quality NNN remaining for resale.114.in was registered in 2005

Over the past year or so I have been picking up 3 character .cn and 5 number .cn. I am getting better offers on the 5 number and 3 character .cn than I am on the 3 number .in.
Simply my experience.
People need to be patience till the target buyer has to reach to get $xxxx, IMHOLooks like some people havent learnt to not do ""public auction" with .in domains. they'll learn the hard way.

Sorry, are we deviating from Indian Domain Names Sales topic - lol - sorry Jeff
In other sales news, I received permission from both seller and buyer to confirm the sale of Airfare.in for 5 figures ($XX,XXX) in the sales thread here (it is also mentioned on another forum thread). The exact amount is remaining undisclosed but its another great indicator of the value of premium .in names. The acquisition is for an air-travel related startup business so watch this space as I'm sure it will be something special in the future. Anyway Well Done to the Seller and the Buyer, seems like both parties can be happy with the outcome.
I can confirm this as I am the buyer of domain name
Thanks for reporting Will. we all are working to grow .in into a world class ccTLD one way or other and reporting this helps. I am afraid, unable to declare buy price due to investors involved and strategy.
