The leading connectivity domain 4G.com sold for a whopping 6-figures.
Bhanu Prasad - the owner of 4G.com - posted the news in a domain sellers group on LinkedIn. He did say in a comment that the buyer "Paid Bomb to acquire [sic]." It was also revealed that the domain wasn't sold to an end user, but rather a domain investor.
He later declared that the deal was done for a high-six figures and the buyer is a domain name investor.
I guess, when selling to end user, this domain has the capability of selling in low to mid 7-figures easily.
All telecom providers who are already into 4G technology or are looking to enter the business are prospective buyers.
