Another Big Numeric Domain Sale from Rick Schwartz and a Pair of 3-Letter .Coms Set Pace on This Week's Chart
By Ron Jackson
Some things never change - short domains attract buyers and Rick Schwartz makes big sales. As Michael Berkens reported this week, Rick did it again - banking $225,000 for 8181.com, the largest publicly reported 4-digit sale on record to date. That was one of four big recent sales from Rick, but the only one in the quartet that he was allowed to disclose the price of. Michael reported the others were 6N.com, 399.com and 6565.com, with the four totaling over $1.3 million, giving the Domain King nearly $12 million in sales so far this year. As has been the case with almost all of these high end numeric sales the 8181.com buyer was from China.
