I am surprised (or should not be?) that people comment here that most blogs talk about things not relevant to the common man. I see blogs as personal opinions and feelings, a replacement to the paper-based diary which we used to write before. So, blogs by their very nature should provide a "view" or "opinion" of the blog's author rather than state the facts like a statistician and let the readers make their own opinions.
If people think 97% or what ever percentage of the topics of public's interest areas are not addressed by existing blogs, I would still think it as an opportunity to fill the gap and probably make a business out of it rather complain that nobody is writes about such topics.
