You will soon be able to enjoy Wendy's burgers in India. The world's third largest burger chain is coming to India through a tie-up with Sierra Nevada Restaurants Private Limited. McDonald's is the largest burger chain in the world, followed by Burger King. Wendy's, McDonald's and Burger King are all American burger chains. Wendy's is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio. Haryana-based Rollatainers Ltd informed the BSE that the company "has entered into a license agreement through Sierra Nevada Restaurants Private Limited, a company in which Rollatainers Limited is having 50 per cent equity stake, with The Wendy's Company to develop and operate the Wendy's brand across India." The exact timeline of the launch of Wendy's stores in India was not immediately known. However, media reports suggest it could be anytime between April to June next year. Sierra Nevada Restaurants Private Limited is a 50:50 joint venture between Rollatainers and International Market Management Ltd (IMM). Rollatainers closed at its day's high on the BSE, up 4.99 per cent atRs. 314.40. The stock outperformed the broader Nifty and the Sensex.
