I was a part of many telegram groups that promote pump and dump. While what seemed lucrative with over 4x returns in minutes, I as a noob, entered the market with $250 just to try and check if it works.
I lost $50 in 1 second. Before I knew it, it was already trading below my buy price and I had lost some money.
It is mostly a scam where the group promoters already are into the position where they buy the currency beforehand and when others enter the market during a pump, they exit their position.
The ones who lose are the newbies.
