Onscreen smoking ban has been lifted. Now the Indian actors can be shown smoking in the movies. The plea had been artistic freedom-well do you support the ban or you think it is fine if the actors are shown smoking?
Though I personally don't have any problem with smoking, but Govt. were trying to ban onscreen smoking because people follow movie stars blindly and ends up on the wrong side. Such movies should be encouraged which shows the ill effects of smoking.Onscreen smoking ban has been lifted. Now the Indian actors can be shown smoking in the movies. This option has been provided in most of the clubs and restaurants in our city. There are separate smoker's zones, people can have a smoke over there without troubling others and without being disturbed.Hi Ceres,
I absolutely agree with you that smoking in the workplaces has been forbidden in many countries. In most bars and restaurants smoking is also not forbidden. I do think however that there should be the option of someone opening a bar for smokers for example.
