A few days ago, I saw that the Kiwi.com domain name had changed hands. Kiwi.com had been owned by Future Media Architects, and the Whois changed to show the registrant as Skypicker.com S.R.O. I had not heard of this company prior to the Whois change, and I am not sure what they are planning for Kiwi.com. At the time of publication, the domain name does not yet resolve.
After seeing the domain name change hands, I reached out to Jeff Gabriel, Vice President of Sales at DomainNameSales.com (DNS) to ask if he could share any details because DNS brokers domain names on behalf of Future Media Architects. Jeff was able able to confirm that the domain name had sold and he told me the acquisition price was $800,000. I was told the broker on this deal was Arif Sengoren, who previously worked at Nokta for five years as a domain broker before joining DNS.
