Unfortunately, if they are asking for an appraisal, it is probably a scam.

The scammers seem to be in high gear lately - I'm getting 3 or 4 of these per day.

If someone is truly interested in your domain, they will figure out how much they are willing to pay for it before contacting you.

value is reg fee. If you setup a successfull ecommerce website this could be a success, of course this will include heavy marketing...
