Nice name!!!
But even in a places like Goa etc where fishing is an occupation along the whole coastal belt...we call them prawns even if they are shrimps at restaurants and any other time of reference.
You can usually distinguish between prawns and shrimps by their gill structure, but everyone calls them prawns nonetheless
But you could always consider holding on to it, till the Indian fisheries(cooperatives) realize the value of marketing themselves online!

at least low to high $xxx. Even if thats off now, it won't be in 2-3 years. You're right the singular version is better,but hey, its a one word .in so it has marketability.
