Mobile Phones Can Assist Classroom Studies

School classrooms have changed dramatically since I went to school all those years ago?

Apparently, schools may soon allow the use of cell phones in the classroom to help students text answers to their teachers.

The new device, called Activexpression, enables teachers to ask questions on the board through a computer, and students can then text their answer through their Activexpression cellphone.

The software immediately produces a graph or chart on the board displaying the students' answers, allowing teachers to gauge the class's understanding at a glance.

It looks like the Activexpression learner response system is already available in many countries, such as the UK, US and New Zealand.

Thanks Deveaux. I wasn't aware that many schools are already using similar systems. How long has your school been using the ActiVote software?
