Costly Domains

Hello Everybody,
We shall all protest against WORLD WIDE WEB for making the .in & .co.in domain names costly. Currently .in domain's Reseller cost is Rs.500. Please protest against it.......

Why do you consider it costly? The cost is similar to most gTLDs and cheaper than most ccTLDs.

Also, I think you are referring to .in? I can buy .co.in retail for slightly more than Rs.300 through Reseller Club. So if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, use .co.in. I think you'll have a hard time finding any other domain for less than Rs.300.

I don't see how these domains are so costly? I honestly don't find them very costly at all. Though -- Everyone has a different budget.

also, you would need to complain to the .IN registry and not the World Wide Web for the rates..

Its not that expensive really a .co.uk domain is about $20 dollars whereas a .com domain can be picked up for $5 dollars. Generic domains will always be cheaper than country specific ones because of simple supply and demand.
