Adult Domain Legality

Hello all..
Is it allowed to have ADULT domains in India.
I know that people have registered adult domains in India and also succeeded in selling them for a decent profit.
But is it really LEGAL to book them?
Also it's quite easy to get caught as WHOIS is public.
I want to reg some adult domains.
Please guide.
