Innovative technology can lead to a few new problems...

The British Association of Dermatologists has warned doctors to be on the lookout for a new allergic skin disorder called mobile phone dermatitis. Users of mobile phones can get a rash that is caused by an allergic reaction to the phone's nickel surface.

So if you have an unexplained rash on your face or ear, you may well have mobile phone dermatitis.

Coincidently, I suffer from allergic reactions to nickel, but luckily I don't really use a mobile phone.

You should have registered the domains before posting this. Someone just registered MobilePhoneDermatitis.com and CellPhoneDermatitis.com minutes ago...

Wow. This is some news! I didn't know that besides the much talked about "harmful radiations and their ill effects", there was some thing like skin irritation attached to the use of mobile phones as well. I use them a lot. I guess I should be more careful now.

Many thanks for the information! I have problems with my skin on the face and I use very actively my mobile telephone. And from now I shall be careful with the material of the body of my telephone.
