YoYo.email has sued RBS Bank (Royal Bank of Scotland), Natwest Bank and Coutts & Co. in the United Kingdom in an effort to overturn an adverse UDRP decision.
YoYo registered about 4,000 .email domain names when they came out, almost all of them reflecting brand names. The company planned to use the domain names for a certified email service.
However, this drew attention of many of the trademark holders who in turn, filed a UDRP. Many of them went against YoYo.email.
However, YoYo.email founder Giovaani Laporta is determined to get some of these domain names back. Hence, he is filing for reverse UDRP against some of the decisions given against his company.
He is planning to file lawsuit against the chocolate company Purdy's who won Purdys.email domain name in November, 2014.
