The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. When a two-letter com changes hands you can count on the deal coming with a high price tag. In the latest example of that DomainNameBroker.com closed a $650,000 transaction that sent a two-letter .com to a buyer in China (as has been the case with many of these premier assets over the past year or two). As a result, four of the eight biggest sales reported so far this year are two-letter .coms. The sale also helped the .coms pile up 13 entries on this week’s all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. The ccTLDs also had a good outing with six charted sales while the non .com gTLDs were limited to one. http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2016/20161005.htm
