Starting 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] November, 2014 two-character .PT domain names will be available for registration. .PT is the ccTLD for Portugal.
DNS.PT announced that there will be two phases :
a) As from the third November 2014, all domains with two characters that comply with the provisions herein and which are included in the list identified in article 1 of the Annex to the present Conditions, will be unblocked for registration, notwithstanding the application of the general rules for composing domain names provided for and regulated in articles 9 and 11 of the Rules;
b) Between the 4th and the 11th of December, the auction of the domains identified in paragraph 2 of the Annex to the present Conditions will take place, exclusively on the online platform Sedo
DNS.PT, the registry for .PT domains, announced that it will hold an auction on Sedo, which will include 51 .PT domain names.The auction will be held December 4th through December 11th,2014.
The 51 two-character .PT domains that will be available for sale via Sedo are:
