The Power Of Domain Parking

Hello, Everyone..

I want to create this thread as i want to let people educate and understand the power of domain parking.

Many people say parking is dead, but is it really dead ?

For me no atleast, How much have you made with your parking revenue per click ? Or how much you guys can imagine you can make per click ?

Domain parking is a super business if used rightly and wisely. There are so many parking companies offering so many things, i have seen most people are just stuck with sedo which pays hardly few cents. I want you guys to think out of sedo.

My highest per click revenue is $111... Yes would you believe $111 for a single click, My average revenue per click with few parking companies is $7 to $11... Yes for that you should know all the niches but you still can find all such niches.

I want to give an example, one of my friend had a domain parked @ sedo which was making around 0.03 cents a click on an average, i helped him with optimization and he tried voodoo.com as the service to use.

He made $11 in 1 year with sedo with a single domain, and once he shifted from sedo to voodoo he already is making $7+ / month.

This is how much revenue you can loose, it may not be for each and every domain, but still it helps big time.

Also if you just changed the nameserver and parked and completely rely on parking for the optimization also doesnt help, you have to take extra steps and understand things.

People who are having 100's of domain or 5 to 10 which get traffic should use and understand all this things, coz you might be loosing a good chunk of money.

I would like to know from every one else and there experience with parking and if possible i may help in optimization.

Great post @getaddicted . Are you talking of a $111 click on a .IN domain or .com?
How's your experience been with .IN and .Co.In Names?

Thanks for that, $111 was with a .com domain.. .in and .co.in domains also do well, yes CPC is very low comparatively, but it again depends on what domains you have...

Highest click on my .in and .co.in domain is $9, and i do get $1+ clicks few times in a month for .in domains...

Im attaching some stats for you guys, This is one of my small portfolio earning, Is shows full year stats.

I will be attaching more stats and will help you guys optmize your parked pages...

Per your stats pic attached, do you park only .coms at domainsponsor?

Per your stats pic attached, do you park only .coms at domainsponsor?

I have 90% .com, .net and .org domains and 10% .in domains... And whatever .in domains i have most of the domains are developed..

I do park less .in domains though, but yes i do have few .in domains which are earning well with pure typeins..

There are 2 Most important Point

1) CPC
2) optimisation..

High CPC you can achieve with .com, .net domains, you may can achieve with others but this are prime ones.

Optimisation is key, weather its .com or .in.. Im attaching one more stats of my .in domain, CPC has been very low, i have tried to park this domain with each and every parking company and cpc is same every where

But what i have achieved with optimisation is CTR, you can check im averaging 20%, thats cool in my words..

You may not get high cpc with .in, but you try to optimize so that you can maximum earning, and visitors who come to your parked page actually think its a website and click.

Frankly Speaking, there is nothing as the best parking company.

Each and every parking company has something, and each and every domain will perform differently on different parking.

But to name a few what i mostly use, in no particular order

Domainsponsor.com
Voodoo.com
Parkingcrew.com
DomainParking.com
Trafficz.com
Parklogic.com

This are the companies which i use personally and know how they perform. There are so many other parking companies which i have never tried yet.

Basic idea is you need to rotate your domains in few parking companies to find out where you get most money, Each and every domain performs differently with each and every parking.

So its better to try few companies and see which perfroms where and give's you the most earning. You will surely see difference in most of the domains.

I want to add also RookMedia.net as a parking company, I'm using them and in some cases got good results with indians domains.

To optimize your parking earnings you can also use above.com which automatically searches for the best performing platform for each domain.
I used them for a short time in the past but now I'm engaged in other businesses and have not found the time to optimize again my parked domains (I hope to optimize them in the future)

Whoa. After reading this, to park with sedo seems to be the same thing to giving away money.

Rotating your domains in a few parking companies is a sweet smart move. And also made me see that is a business that allow some room to experimentation. I like it.
