Tech startups in China and India are quietly escalating to the same heights as in the US

The startup scene is just getting warmed up here in India, everywhere the buzz is in the air, couple of large private exits like freecharge.in, nothing as yet compared to the Valley or Wall street or even Shanghai.
According to industry experts : "Over the last 12 months over USD 7 Billion was invested in Indian Startups - which is more than the amount of all of the preceding 4 years combined!"
Raising capital seems easy, it is almost like 1999 where all you needed was a power point and a hand shake at a networking event to get a term sheet discussion started! (Of course easier said than done)
