A domain's value is obviously greater if it's indexed and receives traffic. Only strong domains, with existing traffic (especially type-in) should be parked at Sedo. However, if you want, you can always list your domain for sale at Sedo, while developing it into a mini or even a full blown site, this is the best choice. Furthermore, if someone makes you an offer via Sedo, you can make a good counteroffer, saying that it's developed and it has traffic.

Wow this sounds good, but i really dont know how to list a developed / mini site on Sedo, as i am aware that only domains can be parked / listed at Sedo. Your help will really be appreciated.

You have to login and click on "add domains". After you add your domain, they'll ask to change the domain's nameservers to Sedo's: you mustn't do this, otherwise the website you've built won't show up and the domain will be parked with Sedo.

At the final stage, the system asks you if you wish to park the domain with them: to do this, you must change the nameservers. Because you don't want to park the domain with them, just keep your current nameservers and ignore the message.

Exactly. If you just want to list the domain without parking it with Sedo, you only need to add it wth the procedure above. As far as I know,the domain will not be listed if you DON't change the nameserver.
You will get a mail that."Your domain cannot be verified" .If you still do not change the nameserver,the domain will be removed from the system.

So here is the correct and working method to list your domains while you develop it.


Option 01.

01.Add your domain.
02.Change the name-server to that of SEDO's.
03.Once your domain is listed(means it is verified that you own the domain),change the name-server again to that of your hosting provider.
Now sedo will NOT check again and your domain will be listed as it is for sale.But it will say "This domain is for sale WITHOUT CONTENT"

Option 2:

01.If you already have a domain at sedo,which you want to develop then DELETE it from yur sedo portfolio
and develop it.

02.Once developed,again go to ADD domain,but instead of normal listing,you have to download their excel sheet which is used for listing more than 200 domains at once.
03.Download it and fill your domain as a WEBSITE.
04.This time sedo will say "This website is for sale" and not this domain is for sale.

Yup..I know this.Ddesign wanted to list a domain to sedo and yet develop it at the same time.
In that case the minimum commission is $50 as you mentioned ,but this cannot be avoided if you do not want to park at sedo.

As you stated, you can develop your domain and list it on Sedo, but in this case you must pay the minimum commission fee if you sell the domain via Sedo.
