Sedo Sells 588 Domains For $1 Million: 2230.com $24,944, choose.co.uk 16.500 GBP

In the past week 588 transactions took place on Sedo’s marketplace and via SedoMLS, totaling $1 million.

Sedo does not report domains that are part of private sales or domains that sold for less than 700 USD/EUR/GBP. Over 62% of total sales were the result of Buy Now listings. Sedo will not reveal what is the Buy Now percentage of the public sales vs the percentage of the private sales. And will not reveal what percentage of the total sales value do the Buy Now listings represent.

I was fortunate enough to sell 3 .com at Sedo last week.

Interestingly enough all 3 were rejected for the recent Namescon/ Namejet auction. As sales values were not very good there I was lucky and did not have to pay 25% commission.
