I came across an article that points out that the world is almost out of .com domain names. It points out a lot of interesting things that would be good for all domain owners to read up on.

I might seem like a big deal now, but when we actually do run out of names the world will adapt by switching to another extension. Then we'll see more TLDs and gTLDs becoming popular.
