One of the largest domain name sales of the year occurred this past week when Pro Football Focus acquired PFF.com for $270,000. The domain name was sold by Telepathy (Nat Cohen’s company), and the sale was reported in DNJournal’s weekly sales report.

Pro Football Focus can still be found at ProFootballFocus.com, and PFF.com is currently being used as a forwarder to the company’s website. It looks like Pro Football Focus refers to itself as PFF throughout its website, and its logo uses the PFF acronym inside of a football. It will be interesting to see if a full rebrand is coming or if PFF.com is going to simply be used to make it easier for visitors to navigate to the longer website. The company already has the matching @PFF Twitter handle.
