Police resolve domain row

IT.com
Well spotted - thanks!

There was a funny one with the Sussex police recently:

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/news/articles/2005-8658.html

The force were trying to promote their Operation Beat Sweep, a programme to tackle anti-social behaviour from gun crime to grime on a leaflet.

But instead of recommending residents visit their website sussex.police.uk, they printed the website address as sussexpolice.co.uk, a domain name owned by an unrelated party that utlises it to promote links to gay pornographic websites.

Amicable resolve. This is something that can only be resolved with proper vision from both sides. This can be raked up to a bigger issue easily by the officials of any country.
