Mobile apps, is this a potential threat for webs?

Hello,

We are seeing a rapid changes on dot com everyday.
Recently from 15th May, Myntra.com (an indian fashion portal, annual turn over $300 Mln appr)
Even, it's new owner and Indian ecom Poster boy Flipkart is aggressively promoting it's customers to shift on it's mob app.
There are so many other portals are trying to shift on apps.

Is this a big threat to web future?

Yes that is threat to Web and domain industry. You can see there is increase in internet users but not significant changes in registered domains and websites.

Android is future but Porn and pirated content websites will not going to effect by this.
