What is the main benefits of forum posting nowadays ?

I think that it is meeting other people - still keep in contact with and do business with people I have met through forums years and years ago.

Community forums are coming full circle, social media platforms essentially took the air from our sails but for targeted and niche topics there is no better way to connect with others globally. Now social media sites are becoming stale with many users losing interest especially the younger set.

I’ve built many communities over the years and have a couple I hope to launch before winter.
