Remember when the new gTLDs — general top-level domains — came on the scene nearly a decade or so ago, and how they were going to be the nail in the coffin for legacy domain extensions — .com, .org, .net?
Well, that didn’t happen. However, what did happen was that quite a people lost hundreds and thousands of dollars gambling that they would.
