India's e-payment market to grow

According to a report on ZDNet Asia, it is predicted that India's retail e-payment market will grow by nearly 70% in the next 2 years.

The popularity of mobile phones and the increasing number of computer users in India is helping such e-commerce growth. I wonder if we'll start to see a significant increase in Indian e-commerce websites?

I agree, this is a segment lacking behind and a big plus for e-commerce is the reduction in cost since you don't have to pay rent for your physical store, no thefts, and no staff!
However - quality of goods is still questionable, and also no. of cheats who vanish overnight after they have made a good amount. Would be good to have a watchdog / monitoring site to rank and rate e-commerce stores as well as keep a tab on good / bad practices.
