Via Entrepreneur.com Daily Dose, I came across a report that estimates the contribution of immigrant business owners to the U.S. economy.

According the report, India contributes the third largest number of immigrate business owners at 60,210. The first country is Mexico at 255,300, and the second is Korea at 90,280.

...immigrants in the United States are 30 percent more likely to start a business than native-born Americans.

Interesting stats.

The fact to be noted is that the average immigrant in any country will be better in terms of most things(say education, wealth) than the average native of that country.Immigrants will have a great attitude to perform.

I completely agree! There are mainly two reasons.

1) They have come for it.

2) They have come only for it.

They don't run around on beaches, they don't visit disco or pubs and don't indulge in any other thing that would take them away from their goal.
