I was reading this article in the Inc magazine and later saw a post by Elliot Silver: Inc. Magazine Reveals Price of Nuts.com | DomainInvesting.com
Basically, Elliot Silver's post talked about NUT.COM sale for $700K.

- Buyers tend to hide their main identity
- Some posed as bloggers needing a site for blogging. This is really interesting because atleast I tend to receive lots of inquiries with that being the reason for buying the domain name.
- High value domain names deal take months to finalize. In the magazine, a user created fake profiles including the one on LinkedIn to get into few degrees of separation from the seller and then later ask for "Friends & Family Discount"
- The writer of the article doe not understand the difference between URL & domain name
