.in domains are currently valued at ~ 5% - 10% of their .com counterpart?

In other words, if a .com domain is valued at $1000, then the .in version of that domain will be valued at approx $50 - $100.

There will be a few exceptions, however generally speaking - do you find this valuation correct?

NO... in general terms it should be in the range of 30 to 40% when super premium domains are considered (where sale proceed are above USD10k), For premimum one it should be approx 25% and regular domain name can be below this.

Above figures are based on sale done in the past.....
