Ebay has successfully taken down over 1,000 domain names that were infringing its trademark, many of which were set up as commerce sites.
The UDRP targeted 1,153 .com and .net domain names all of which started with ebay and contained numbers after it, like ebay962.com, ebay623.net, etc.

The whois of all the domains were privacy protected. After the privacy was removed, it was discovered that all of them belonged to multiple owners.
However, ebay convinced the panel that they were all registered by same owner or multiple owners working together. This was concluded seeing that all the domains were registered over a period of 2 days.

There was no response from the side of the defendant.
Hence, the case concluded in the favor of the Complainant,i.e., Ebay.
