The board at ICANN has extended the term of its President and CEO Fadi Chehade. The contract will now last on June 30, 2017.
The Board Chair said that the extension of the contract ensures the stability in leadership that is important for ICANN and also shows the confidence and support that the board has, in Fadi.
Chahade's base salary will increase by 12.5 percent.
