ICANN Cracks Down on Whois Abuse

ICANN has sent notices to two registrars warning them that they are in breach of their registrar accreditation agreement. The registrars are failing to take reasonable steps to investigate and correct, when necessary, claimed Whois inaccuracies. The two registrars have 15 days to rectify the alleged breaches.

This seems like a good move by ICANN as obviously correct Whois data is extremely important!

Finally. I've seen SO many domains as they drop with " Dr Fake, 120 Fake Street" as the registration address. It's just not funny anymore:p
