According to Ename.cn, a Chinese who lives in Thailand built a Chinese forum in 2008. Recently, they changed the main domain name from Taihuabbs.com to Taiguo.com (means “Thailand” in Chinese). They acquired Taiguo.com with a six-figure CNY price in 2014. According to the whois information, Meiguo.com(America), Yingguo.com( England) are owned by Chinese domain investors.

Huiyi.com (means “meeting” “conference” in Chinese) was sold for a seven-figure CNY price, the buyer was Zhan Baosheng (owner of father.com).

Chinese investor Gediao bought Babi.com, he said he loved this domain name very much, would not consider to sell it in the near future. “Babi” means “Daddy” and “Barbie” in Chinese.

964.com was sold for a seven-figure CNY price (approximately $150,000 USD) in an auction.

Ltz.com was sold for ¥315,000 CNY (approximately $47,000 USD) in an auction.

Aiai.cn (“ai” means “love”) was sold for ¥80,000 CNY (approximately $12,000 USD) in an auction.

Phpw.com was sold for ¥51,111 CNY (approximately $7,600 USD) in an auction.
