Hard Drive Issues

I'm having hard drive issues on my Dell Inspiron laptop. Besides the F12 route, which hasn't done any good, what else can I do? Is there another function key I can use to do a re-boot?

Have you gone deep into the system properties portion of your control panel? Have you gone the "geek" route yet?Sometimes you can override malfunctions that way.

Yeah, I spent a couple hours a few days ago doing just that. It's on W10, and for some reason the human interface portion of the hard drive was hidden, and I was able to get it out of the shadows. But when I did, there was no airplane mode option like some of the You Tube tutorials were telling me there was. At that point I just gave up.
