Donut's new gTLD .GURU passes 40,000 registrations, making it the most successful gTLD so far.

The second most successful gTLD is .Photography which has 25,000 registrations so far.

.Tattoo is the least successful gTLD so farwith only 1,000 registrations.

Best of a bad lot of domain extensions. Probably one of the most generic, rather than targetted at a particular niche.
