Google has announced that Google Adsense, the advertising network of Google will now support Hindi.
This is a smart move on the part of Google as there are more than 500 million Hindi speaking individuals across the world, the majority being in India, which is the second most populous country in the world with a population of over 1.2 billion.
This move will be able to harvest the wealth of quality Hindi content available online.
Google’s Product Sales Lead, Emanuele Brandi said: “We’re excited to launch AdSense Hindi language support to help fuel even more quality content creation on the web, and to help advertisers connect with a rapidly growing online audience."
He added that the webmasters who own Hindi language based sites may finally start earning.
