Domain aftermarket and auction platform, Pheenix, received a barrage of unsavory comments over at NamePros.

Coming fresh from the drop of several of its satellite registrars, Pheenix appears to have angered a customer, who claims they are “warehousing customers’ expired domains.”

The Pheenix customer is livid over the fact that his winning bid did not count.

All of them do - embedded deep in terms and conditions, several clauses exist which no one bothers to read before engaging with such businesses...example card payment failed in one case, due to reasons beyond buyers control...the service provider has the right to..

Forget all this most domain buyers dont understand the leasehold nature of domains...the day it expires you technically loose almost all rights

Oh, I agree almost all of them do, but once they offered it for sale in auction, the auction completed and payment was made and verified, then they should have transferred the domain. That was the complaint from the OP in the article. Deceptive business practices are not good. You lose trust you lose customers.
