Thanks for your infos Steve,
so, except .in & .co.in
all other extensions was no value
Premium terms in other extensions can be worth something. As well, if you're going to develop a website and don't want to spend a lot on a domain, the other extensions can be worth using.
Thanks a lot Jeff,
So it sounds like that the ind.in is for individuals/personal use,
all others seems OK if use them for websites, but
only focus at .in & .co.in - if you plan to resell the domains?
Thanks again -
I'm wonder why .net.in & .org.in are no/low commercial value -
even if with very nice keywords?
Well if you think about it, .in is still a budding extension relative to the vintage staples like .com,.net,.org,etc,so its not yet a "strong" extension yet. If you consider the fact that .net.in for example is much weaker than .in, then how does it stack up against other extensions in general? Its definitely much weaker. As far as india's ccTLDs go,expect most of the value in .in to remain between .in and .co.in.
Yes, probably you are right. thanks anyhow.
So, I'll build up some minisite or most of my .net.in / .org.in and .ind.in
firm.in vs co.in
What would be the difference? Isn't a firm a company?
.co.in is what has traditionally been used and is what has mindshare in India.
I think .in is better for all
Nice list of available India domain name extension and from my information .in(international) available for worldwide and .co.in is more popular Indian domain name estension.

It's not a real extension:
ooooooops! but i read this article...
Ms. Neha Talks About .IN.NET – The Newest TLD to Hit the Indian market at WHD.India 2013
From the above article: "49% of the US domain users are not happy with the domains they have".
Lets wait for .US.NET release soon :
Does Ms. Neha even know what a TLD is?
.IN.NET is nothing but a second level domain in the NET TopLevelDomain. And the Turakhia gang is promoting it as a new TLD! They really need some lessons in copywriting! They might even have sold .AD.COM as a new TLD, but I guess that much talked (hyped) about million dollar purchase never got through (AOL has it now).
General public, please note, if you register anything under .IN.NET you will be having a "sub-domain" under a domain called in.net and it won't be under control of .IN registry, but under control of the registrant of in.net (a RADIX FZC of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates).
BTW, in.com is with Network18. Incidentally, it is registered through PDR LTD (of the Turakhias). Anyone want to have a go at the parked in.org
DISCLOSURE: I had bad experience with ResellerClub reseller account, and I don't trust that group.
Below are the country domain extensions for India. There are no restrictions on who can register second-level domains or most third-level domains. There are some restrictions under some specialized subdomains.
.in - Available to anyone; used by companies, individuals, and organizations in India
.co.in - Originally for banks, registered companies, and trademarks
.firm.in - Originally for shops, partnerships, liaison offices, sole proprietorships
.net.in - Originally for Internet service providers
.org.in - Originally for non-profit organizations
.gen.in - Originally for general/miscellaneous use
.ind.in - Originally for individuals
Six zones are reserved for use by qualified organizations in India:
.ac.in - Academic institutions
.edu.in - Educational institutions
.res.in - Indian research institutes
.gov.in - Indian government
.mil.in - Indian military
.nic.in - Reserved for India's National Informatics Centre, but in practice most Indian government agencies have domains with this extension..
A very good bit of information for us beginners as well. I wondered if there were more than .in and .co.in. Trading in domain names is a "now" business and one needs to be up on all of the information. That's why I joined this forum - to learn more about the domain business.
Amazing. There are way more .in extensions than I realized. This thread would be great for beginners to look at and see all their options.
Separate names with a comma.
