Facebook files 101 domain name UDRP

Facebook has filed quite a large UDRP at the World Intellectual Property Organization against 101 domain names.

It looks like all of the domain names are in the .Top extension, and it looks like the domain names either have Facebook, Instagram, or FB in them. I believe a UDRP on multiple domain names can only be filed if all of the domain names are owned by the same entity, so my guess is one entity regisered them all.

Well, I am not able to decipler why would they go for filing UDRP on such names that hold little to no value and are not significant at all.

Some of those really are obscure, unless they are going for really long tail keywords.

I checked a few, and it looks like a couple were in use recently, and selling Likes. Since Facebook is a trademark, the UDRP might be simply be intended to close those sites down and stop other people using the domains.
