Eurid is going to launch its new domain registration platform on September 15, 2014.
After that, newly registered .EU domain names will no longer expire at the end of the month but rather at the end of their registration term, calculated in years starting on the registration date and ranging from one to ten years.
Also, the domain names registered on 29 February will always expire on 28 February.
