Scammers have come up with a new kind of scam to obtain the credit card information.
They send out an email with the subject line "OneOfYourDomainName.com", i.e., they find your email from WhoIs database and send out a mail that your domain is expiring and if you wish to renew it, click on a link that they provide.
When you click on the link, you are taken to a website that looks like ICANN website, has an ICANN logo and copyright at the bottom.
The prices that appear for renewal are pretty low, thereby instantly arousing suspicion. It is $3 per year renewal for a .COM
Also, the domain that is used is domaiinregistration.com and seems to be registered on September 18 by someone in China.
Please be alert with such emails in the future!!
