Domain Registration with generic or Dictionary names

IT.com
If the domain word is Generic/Dictionary word and if you are making genuine use of the same. Then it can't be questions either in UDRP/INDRP or even in an legal proceedings.

As regards Trademark, a generic/dictionary work is mostly not allowed to be registered under Indian Law. But people try to register the same under non related class... refer to the decision as to Internet.in: http://www.inforum.in/legal-issues-dispute/10145-internet-high-court-decision.html. Here the word Internet was registered under class 34 (Tobacco, etc) and not class 42 (Technology, etc).
