In the beginning of this year, I told myself that I was going to draft a budget that I would strictly stick to. However, I now realize that matters financial aren't so easy and require a lot of discipline. I am not giving up yet.
Congrats on trying to take control of your financial situation. Just try not to fall into the same trap that so many other people fall into. When they are short of money, they lower their standard of living, rather than raising their income.
But wouldn't you have to lower your standard of living until you make a higher income? That's how debt is born. Still living large while you're making small.
I always try to live within my means and it helps because I just spend what I am able to, without stretching my budget. It is best to budget as it helps one to think about saving.
