Interesting tidbit for those of you interested in geographic / Indian domains ...

Has anyone noticed that IBM owns Bhopal.com and uses it to hold its excuses about the Bhopal disaster?

Bhopal disaster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

1) Cost-cutting initiatives affected the quality of equipment and the effectiveness of safety regulations
2) Attempts to reduce expenses affected the factory’s employees and their conditions

Bhopal Information Center

The FAQ section says:

1) Were there safety concerns at the plant before the tragedy? No.
2) It was sabotage by an employee

Interesting use of a major city name

How is IBM involved?

It was Union Carbide and then they morphed to some other company.

All these b*st*rds should be castrated and the resultant stuffed into their mouths.

They are mass murders...move over Hitler, corporate America is here.

Profit at all cost and who gives a shit about the world.

And this govt is spreading its legs for them again...sheesh, when will they learn.

Hi mwzd

You're right - the actual ownership of the company has been lost in the corporate mix ... I presume deliberately.

However things shook out, its IBM thats now offering the excuses.

"2) It was sabotage by an employee"

Really!? This is what you are supposed to believe!

Dig more down under for real facts!
