Becoming an Authority

I read an article the other day that stated that the quickest way to grow your business online is to become an authority and brand yourself as such. Is this really true? If it is, then how does one start becoming an authority in their niche?

You can look at this from different facets but from my understanding, you become an authority through fully understanding what your niche is all about. This places you above your competitors, so to speak. You therefore are set apart, based on what it is you can do, that others can't.

It's just a simple matter of picking one topic or subject and then dedicating your time and energy to becoming better and better at it. It may take you months or even years, but in the end, no one will know more about it than you - and when that happens, your stock will definitely go up!
