Via Alootechie I read about a recent study by J.D. Power. It reveals that, in 2009, 34% of new-vehicle shoppers in India turn to the Internet for information before they visit a car dealership. In 2007, the figure was 21%.

When you take into account that we're living in an Internet age and India's Internet penetration is slowly growing, the results are not that surprising. I notice both cars.in and cars.co.in are parked domains… Which Indian company do you think will wake up first?
